Relationships are always complicated. As much as we would love them to be a simple equation with simple solutions, they always seem to turn into some kind of calculus problem. One of the main reasons that couples have trouble in relationships is because they can’t communicate effectively. This can go a lot of ways. Maybe the relationship isn’t working because one of the partners isn’t picking up on hints to take the relationship farther, or it could be that the partner isn’t getting the vibe that the other one wants out of it. Establishing a healthy medium of communication can be the best way to have a healthy and working relationship.
When it comes to communicating, men are usually the worst. They have egos, and they never want to talk about their feelings. This almost assuredly means that if you are a woman, you are going to have to figure out some way to decipher what they are saying and turn it into something positive. There are a few things that men will say to a girl that need to be read the right way in order for a woman to have a grasp on what is going on in the relationship.
If he says: “We should hang out.
What he means: “I can’t really read if you are into me so I’m going to ask if you want to hang out and if you give me your number then I know I’m on the in but if you don’t then we can just walk away from this without anyone’s pride being hurt”. Men have egos, as was mentioned before, and they don’t want to look stupid in any situation. Asking a girl to hang out before asking them on a date is a way for a man to save his ego but still gauge if the woman has any interest in him.
If he says: “I think your eyes are beautiful.”
What he means: “I want to kiss you.” While this may be a legitimate compliment to a girl about her eyes, the truth of the matter is that men aren’t going to really appreciate the eyes of a girl they don’t like. Furthermore, a guy won’t stare at a girl’s face without constantly thinking about kissing her. It’s a natural progression for a guy to look at a girl’s eyes and then immediately down to her lips.
